The Thessaloniki Summit 2021, held earlier this month, concluded with great success, featuring distinguished personalities from Greece’s political and business sectors and beyond.
Their shared conviction? That our region is gaining a more “visible” position on the map of international transport and logistics. This belief is practically supported by the significant recent investment made by EXELIXIS Ho.Re.Ca, which this year acquired a 7,000 sqm facility in Sindos, Thessaloniki, equipped as a “green” warehouse. Over the past five years, the company has also tripled its workforce.
Our company was represented by partner and COO of EXELIXIS HO.RE.CA, Mr. Nikos Lazoulas, who emphasized the strategic exploitation of our region’s geographic location.
“Due to its geographical position and proximity to other Balkan countries and Turkey, Thessaloniki can serve as the primary entry point for goods into our country. EXELIXIS receives the goods, stores them, and manages volumes that can be split and distributed throughout Greece. An example of such collaboration is our agreement with the multinational Pepsico, whose factories are located in Europe.”
Concluding his remarks, he stated the company’s immediate goal: “Our aim is to expand our exclusive partnerships while simultaneously investing in sales growth.”
